Pinterest Decides to Share the Wealth, Finally Notices Other Countries Exist..

Pinterest is expanding its Creator Inclusion Fund, an initiative designed to support creators from historically marginalized communities, to five new countries: Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and France. Launched in 2021, the fund provides financial grants, ad credits, and educational resources to help elevate creators from underrepresented groups, including Black, Latiné, LGBTQIA+, Asian, Indigenous people, and those with disabilities.

Since its inception, the program has assisted creators in the US, UK, and Brazil, offering them training, personalized consulting, and industry insights. These resources have helped participants grow their audiences and businesses significantly. For instance, Pamyla Cummings, a skincare and beauty content creator, saw a 68% follower growth and used her grant to become a licensed esthetician. Another success story includes Ryan Razooky, a youth basketball trainer, who experienced a 220% follower increase and expanded his business with the support of the fund.

The expansion aims to provide more creators with the opportunity to gain financial support, exposure, and resources, helping them reach new audiences and inspire others with their passions.
